Harlem Irving Plaza is 15 minutes from O'Hare Airport. The HIP is located at the intersection of Harlem Avenue, Irving Park Road, and Forest Preserve Drive. The Customer Service Center is near Entry C.

From downtown (the loop):

Take Kennedy (I-90) west to Irving Park Road (4000 north) and turn west (left). Drive approximately four miles to the intersection of Irving Park Road, Harlem Avenue, and Forest Preserve Drive. Harlem (road #43) is 7200 west, to help you gauge the distance.

Or,

Take the Kennedy to the Harlem Avenue exit and turn south (left). Drive two miles until you reach the HIP.

From O'Hare Airport:

Exit from the airport on to I-190, which will merge into I-90 east (the Kennedy Expressway). Drive for 1.7 miles, until you reach the Harlem Avenue exit. At the top of the ramp, get into the right lane and make a right turn at the first stoplight (Harlem Avenue). Proceed south 1.8 miles to the HIP.

Harlem Irving Plaza is serviced by #80 Irving Park Bus, #78 Montrose Bus, and #90 Harlem Bus.

Handicapped parking areas are located in the lower level parking near all mall entrances, and on the upper level near Carson's and Kohl's. There are wheelchair ramps at all main floor entrances with Entrances A, D, E, and H offering automatic push button doors. There are wheelchair accessible drinking fountains near escalator 2 and Entrance B. Wheelchairs are available free of charge at the Customer Service Center.
